EAC / About Moscow EAC

The EducationUSA Advising Center (EAC) in Moscow, Russia invites you to take part in the Education and Career 21st Century Fair on November 16-18, 2006. The fair, organized by a Russian organization called “Education and Career”, is the largest international education exhibition in Russia. The 2005 fair attracted nearly 40,000 visitors and 410 exhibitors. The three-day fair will be held at Gostiny Dvor, one of the largest, most centrally located spaces in Moscow.

The Moscow EducationUSA Advising Center has conducted 12 annual education information fairs and has cooperated with Education and Career for ten years, but this is the first year that the two fairs will be combined, offering more access than ever before. The Education and Career fair traditionally hosts large pavilions dedicated to Australian, Canadian, French, British, and German educational opportunities, among others.

In 2006, American Councils for International Education: ACTR/ACCELS, the administrator of the EAC, has partnered with Education and Career to promote the event to American colleges and universities and has negotiated the creation of a pavilion space devoted to higher education in the U.S. Participation in the fair will give you the opportunity to advertise your institution’s programs to the Eurasian higher education community, meet directly with students and faculty members, and learn more about the growing educational market in the region.

The standard prices for space during the three-day event are below. A booth contains a sign with the exhibitor’s name, a .5mx1m counter, a table, two chairs, two spotlights, a 220v electric socket, and a wastebasket. Other equipment and translators are available at extra cost.

The Moscow EAC is directly supported by a grant from the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State. The mission of EACs is to provide accurate, unbiased, up-to-date information on all educational opportunities available at regionally accredited institutions in the U.S. Professional advisers guide visitors through all stages of the university application process, empowering them to make the best decisions for themselves.
