The Rotary Foundtion
Through The Rotary Foundation's Educational Programs, Rotary members worldwide strive to promote international understanding between people of different nations. Since 1947, The Rotary Foundation has sponsored over 36,000 "ambassadors of goodwill" to study or teach in another country. The Rotary Foundation is pleased to provide you with information on its international education opportunities.
Applications are now being accepted for the following scholarships and grants:
•2005-06 Rotary Foundation Ambassadorial Scholarships - This program provides Academic-Year, Multi-Year, and Cultural scholarships to study abroad. Recipients are expected to be outstanding ambassadors of goodwill to the people of their host country through appearances before Rotary clubs and districts, civic organizations and other forums. After study is completed, scholars share their experiences with the people of their home countries and with the local Rotarians who sponsored their scholarships.
•2005-07 Rotary World Peace Scholarships - This program offers annually 70 Rotary World Peace Scholarships for two-year master's degree or certificate programs in international relations, peace studies and conflict resolution at one of seven Rotary Centers for International Studies located at prestigious universities around the globe.
•2005-06 Rotary Grants for University Teachers - This program provides funding to faculty willing to share their expertise with students in developing nations.
